Embassy visit program

The Embassy of Canada to Japan welcomes visitors to its public facilities.

Visitors may take self-guided tours of the 4th floor Hall, Canada Garden, Prince Takamado Gallery, E.H. Norman Library, and other areas open to the public.

Visitor access to the Embassy of Canada to Japan requires government-issued photo identification (e.g. passport, drivers license, national qualification card, resident card or My Number card), or two forms of identification: employee or health insurance card plus an unexpired photo ID (e.g. company/corporation).

You can also take a  at any time.

General public

*Reservations are not required for groups of 5 or less.

Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Last entry 5 p.m.)

Please check Embassy closures and have photo ID ready (e.g., passport, driver's license, national certificate, residence card, My Number card), or 2 identification cards. Don't forget to bring your valid employment or health insurance card and photo identification (e.g., company or corporation).

School visit program

The school visit program is currently suspended until further notice.

During this period, a total of up to 20 people, including the teacher(s), are welcome to visit the Embassy as part of the general public program. No advance reservation is required for groups of less than 5 persons.

The Embassy may have to cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances.
