What: The Department identifies expected results and invites applicants to submit proposals that will contribute to the achievement of those results. The comparative process will result in a grant or a contribution.

How:

  • Submit expertise offer  to organizations working in the international development field;
  • Contact existing international development partners associations.

Targeted bidding (Profit not allowed)

1. Department-Initiated:

What: The Department identifies expected results and a specific organization best suited to achieve the results. The organization will to submit a proposal that will be assesed on its own merit. A grant or a contribution will be issued.

How:

  • Submit expertise offer  to organizations working in the international development field;
  • Contact existing international development partners associations.

2. Unsolicited Proposals:

What: The Department receives a proposal from an applicant that is not in response to any departmental communication. Based on the Department’s decision it may result in a grant or a contribution.

How:

  • Submit expertise offer  to organizations working in the international development field;
  • Contact existing international development partners associations
