What we heard report – Shaping the partnership for gender equality

In September and October 2018, ¶¶ÒùÊÓƵ held a series of targeted roundtable discussions in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and Montréal, engaging more than 80 stakeholders from civil society, the philanthropic community and the private sector to discuss the design and development of the partnership for gender equality.

A framework discussion paper prepared by ¶¶ÒùÊÓƵ outlining a number of key elements helped guide the discussions, focusing on key questions related to the partnership’s potential programming elements, institutional arrangements and governance and investment functions. Participants had much to share and ¶¶ÒùÊÓƵ welcomed their perspectives, including messages of support for the overall platform, as well as advice on how to make it work.

Details of the discussions can be found in the What we heard report.
