2. Trade and Sustainable development – trade and gender, corporate social responsibility (CSR) / Responsible Business Conduct (RBC)
- Implementation of the work plan for the CETA Trade and Gender recommendations
- Update on CSR/RBC developments on both sides
3. Dedicated session on trade and environment and trade and climate action
- Priorities for cooperation and overview of activities, including under the Trade, climate and Paris recommendation:
- EU-Canada clean tech activities
- Working together in the multilateral context
- Update on respective developments on trade and environment and trade and climate, focusing on climate and biodiversity. Outline of the EU Chemicals Strategy.
December 11th
4. Dedicated session on trade and labour
- Exploration of potential cooperative activities, including cooperation in third parties and multilaterally.
- Exchange of views on actions to address the COVID-19 impacts in the labour and social sphere.
5. Discussion on Canada’s proposed Trade and Indigenous peoples recommendation
- Presentation by Canada on its proposal
- Discussion between the Parties
6. TSD Early review
- Wrap up of the discussions under the Second Dedicated Session, initiated on October 23, 2020 between the parties on Trade and Sustainable Development early review.
7. Discussion on Work Plan for 2020-2021 and next steps moving forward
8. Meeting review with Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs) representatives
- Debrief by the Parties from the Trade and Sustainable Development Committee discussions
- Exchange of views between the DAGs chairs and the Parties
