The institutions and organizations invited to submit proposals as part of this process were all involved in developing, testing and validating initiatives in phase 2 of the CIFSRF. These institutions and organizations were all selected based—among other reasons—on: the results of their initiative for phase 2 of the CIFSRF; their contribution in phase 2 of the CIFSRF to gender equality and women’s leadership and empowerment; and independent, external reviews, which indicated that there was potential to scale the impact of these initiatives.
