Number of projects to be funded: 1-2 projects

Objective:
Improve the health and health rights for those experiencing poverty, marginalization and/or vulnerability by generating and using evidence from health and nutrition investments and undertaking monitoring and evaluation of health and nutrition interventions for program quality improvement and accountability.
Eligibility (by invitation only)
- Must be a Canadian organization
- Must be a Department/Institute with contracts <$5M CAD directly from ¶¶ÒùÊÓƵ
- Must have a Record of international development related scientific global health publications
Organizations invited to submit an application were selected based on criteria ensuring a wide range of experience in international development related to global health research and evaluation. Selection criteria included the following:
- Must have significant (> 5 years) experience in designing global health evaluations and studies in line with GAC priorities in sexual reproductive health and rights, nutrition and health systems across different ODA eligible countries and regions;
- Must have a strong focus on health equity and gender equality;
- Must have significant experience (> 5 years) supporting and working with partners in low income countries.
