Luxembourg – Universal Periodic Review

Canada welcomes the measures taken by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to provide housing for beneficiaries of international protection, and encourages it to continue its efforts to provide them with sustainable housing.
Canada recommends that Luxembourg:
- Adapt its asylum policy to ensure equal treatment in the direct reception of applicants for international protection, whether they are beneficiaries of international protection or registered under temporary protection status;
- Promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market;
- Reinforce its fight against violence against women and support the collection of statistical data in this field.
