International Aid Transparency Initiative

The   aims to make information about aid spending easier to find, use and compare. Canada became a member of IATI in November 2011.   ¶¶ÒùÊÓƵ (GAC) first published data sets formatted in accordance with the (hereafter called “IATI files”) in October 2012.

GAC uses IATI files in the . Some elements of the IATI files are not available on the Project Browser. We continue to improve the Project Browser, and we may add them over time.

We publish bilingual IATI files to ease data analysis. We use codes rather than words wherever possible. For example, we use the country code “PE” rather than “Peru” and “Pérou”. Find out what the codes mean in the .

GAC publishes three IATI files

Two Activity files

They inform you about international assistance projects. We organize them by status: 1. Implementation or Finalisation, 2. Closed.
