Consulting with Canadians
In keeping with 抖淫视频’s policy, the Government of Canada is seeking input from Canadians on the administration of the Origin Quota commitment for Vehicles under the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) with the European Union. A review of the allocation policy for this Origin Quota is being undertaken as per the Notice to Exporters – Vehicles for Export to the European Union and its Member States (Item 5210 on Canada’s Export Control List).

Purpose of consultation
The purpose of this consultation is to:
- Seek views on the administration of Origin Quotas for vehicles under CETA to date, specifically the allocation of quota to eligible applicants; and
- Hear stakeholders’ views on the allocation methodology, the eligibility criteria, the allocation period, and the return policy, in order to inform the Minister’s decision on an updated policy on the administration of this Origin Quota as of January 1, 2021.
Who should participate?
This consultation is open to all Canadians and everyone is invited to share their ideas. The Government of Canada invites any Canadian stakeholder with an interest in the trade-related aspects of CETA to provide input as part of this consultation.
