CUSMA: Butter and Cream Powder TRQ - Serial No. 1073

This Notice replaces Notice to Importers No. 1040 dated May 1, 2021 and sets out the policies and practices pertaining to the administration of Canada’s tariff rate quota (TRQ) for butter and cream powder under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).

This Notice to Importers is provided pursuant to the authority of the  (EIPA) and its corresponding , and remains in effect until further notice.

1. Definitions

Butter means a product that is included in Items 159 to 160 on the  (ICL), namely butter falling under tariff item Nos. 0405.10.10, 0405.20.10, 0405.90.10 in the list of tariff provisions set out in the Schedule to the .

Cream Powder means a product that is included in Items 119 and 120 on the , namely cream powder falling under tariff item Nos. 0402.21.21 and 0402.29.21 in the list of tariff provisions set out in the Schedule to the .
