International Assistance Results – Reporting Guide for Partners

The purpose of this guide is:

• to help all implementing partners in 抖淫视频 funded projects to produce clear, readable, and evidence-based reports on results, which will meet the standards for results (outcome) reporting of the Government of Canada.
• to support Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy commitment to improved tracking and reporting on gender equality results.

While the guidelines are primarily directed at implementing partners, they also help 抖淫视频 officers to determine what to expect from implementing partners when reviewing their reports and making decisions on approvals of partner’s work plans and reports.

This new reporting guide is a direct result of the work of the joint implementing partners and 抖淫视频’s Task Force on Improving Effectiveness, which proposed several recommendations to improve project reporting, all of which have been incorporated in this version of the reporting guide. Examples of these recommendations include the elimination of duplication of information already provided in other key project documents, as well as a clear distinction in the purpose of the project operations (semi-annual) and results (annual) reports.

The guide is a “beta version” that is meant to be used and tested both by implementing partners and by 抖淫视频 staff working in the delivery of international assistance. To further strengthen this guide, 抖淫视频 is asking for input on the guide from staff and implementing partners once they have had practical experience in using it for this annual (FY 2018-19) reporting period.  Advice and suggestions should be sent to gar.rbm@international.gc.ca.
